Noises Off by Stefania Sammarro

In January we introduced you to Italian photographer Stefania Sammarro. We are pleased to continue exploring Stefania's art by sharing her latest series Noises Off.

The curtain has fallen, I'm alone .
I put my mask, I cry.

A non-place, an identity without memory: the theater. A building for many, where you go to be recognized or evade. Black gold charms and the dark face of the walls speaks nonsense. Abandonment, sleep, detachment and absence. Two dreamers’ souls wake up, touch and whisper unknown words. In front of the empty shelves, the concrete takes shape. The immensity of this place, everything is done as a scene, everything becomes mask.
