Asymptote by Natalia Evelyn Bencicova

Natalia Evelyn Bencicova is a young visual creative working mostly with digital photography. She grew up in Bratislava, Slovakia and currently Natalia is studying photography and fine art in Vienna.

Asymptote studies the past through the present in an audiovisual form. The project is composed of scenes set in the period of socialism interpreted in a digital language through the eyes of three young ‘creatives.’ The visual journey portrays a momentary state of mind yet builds on the inherited memories of a totalitarian regime. Asymptote uses fashion as a medium that allows for unifying the people into one whole.
