Fabric by Anne-Laure Etienne

Anne-Laure Etienne is a French photographer. After her studies, she decided to travel and I spent a few months in Berlin to photograph this city. Back in France, Anne-Laure worked as a freelance photographer, and she continues to produce images for her portfolio.

This series represents the structure and movement. A garment is weaving, and can transform the mysterious human anatomy. Like the spider, man builds his web around himself, he creates, to bring out its own substance. It is a continual change and is universal, hence the infinite variety of forms. It reveals only a part of itself. The garment is associated with human beings, yet can be diverted from its primary function; it hides the face and absorbs what cannot be seen.
